H.R. 987, which was approved on a vote of 234 to 183. It includes a package of seven individual bills that protect and strengthen access to affordable, quality health coverage.

Bishop, Jr. (GA-02) secured an amendment to the House Subcommittee on Labor, Health and Human Services, Education, and Related Agencies Fiscal Year 2020 Appropriation's bill this week that would prevent states from eliminating non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) for medical patients, including those diagnosed with cancer, HIV, mental health and substance abuse disorders, and end-stage renal disease requiring kidney dialysis three times a week.
