WASHINGTON, DC – Today, Congressman Sanford D. Bishop, Jr. opposed the markup of the Fiscal Year (FY) 2024 Military Construction and Veterans Affairs (MilCon-VA) House Appropriations bill. It now moves to the full House Appropriations Committee for consideration.

Georgia is home to over a dozen military bases and installations, including Fort Moore, Robins Air Force Base, and Marine Corps Logistic Base Albany.
