These are the words Grady County Board of Commissioners Chairman Al Ball used to describe receipt of a “404 Permit” from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for Tired Creek Lake.

White (Retired) with the Civilian Marksmanship Program’s (CMP) Patriot Award at the National Infantry Museum and Soldier Center in Columbus, GA. A veterans service organization with Albany ties held several events throughout the day Monday.
Cairo, GA – Congressman Sanford D. Bishop, Jr. (GA-2) today celebrated the official issuance of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers permit for Tired Creek in Grady County.
Congressman Bishop marked the occasion as a great milestone, having personally been involved with the Tired Creek project for many years.
Albany, GA – Congressman Sanford D. Bishop, Jr. (GA-2) commemorated this Memorial Day Weekend speaking at Andersonville National Historic Site’s Annual Memorial Day Observance in Andersonville, GA, and American Legion Posts 30 and 512 in Albany, GA.
