The Hill: LaHood, Sebelius, Locke, and 43 congressional offices to walk in Komen Race for the Cure

Four members of President Barack Obama's Cabinet, as well as a record-setting 43 congressional teams will participate in the Susan G. Komen Global Race for the Cure on Saturday, June 5, on the National Mall.

Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood, Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius, and Commerce Secretary Gary Locke will all participate in the 5k run/walk, as will teams from the following House offices, according to a press release sent out by the group:

Reps. Rodney Alexander, Mike Arcuri, Spencer Bachus, Shelly Berkley, Howard Berman, Sanford Bishop, Corrine Brown, Gerry Connolly, John Dingell, Lloyd Doggett, Donna Edwards, John Garamendi, Alan Grayson, Alcee Hastings, Baron Hill, Steve Israel, Hank Johnson, Sandy Levin, Bob Latta, Dennis Moore, Jim Moran, Glenn Nye, Silvestre Reyes, Aaron Schock, Lamar Smith, Zack Space, Debbie Wasserman Schultz, Peter Welch, Joe Wilson, and Frank Wolf.

Senate offices participating are those of Sens. Barbara Boxer, Chris Dodd, Al Franken, Daniel Inouye, Mary Landrieu, George LeMieux, Joe Lieberman, and Barbara Mikulski.

Vice President Joe Biden's wife, Dr. Jill Biden, herself a breast cancer survivor, will kick off the opening ceremonies on Saturday morning.
