On Thursday, September 8th, U.S. Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack announced that 150 of Georgia's 159 counties will be able to apply for federal assistance in regard to crop production losses in the form of emergency loans.

COLUMBUS, GA - This weekend, Congressman Westmoreland, joined by Senator Johnny Isakson, Senator Saxby Chambliss, and Congressman Sanford Bishop, will host a Service Academy Day in Columbus. The event will be held on Saturday, September 10th at the National Infantry Museum and Soldier Center from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
