Ga.'s Bishop co-founds poultry caucus in Congress

ATLANTA (AP) — U.S. Rep. Sanford Bishop has co-founded a caucus in Congress dedicated to poultry issues.
The Georgia Democrat said the caucus will educate other members of Congress about the concerns of the U.S. chicken industry, including food safety, trade, immigration issues and environmental concerns.
Bishop co-founded the caucus with Rep. Rick Crawford, a Republican from Arkansas.Georgia produces the most valuable chicken crop in the country.
