WASHINGTON, DC – Congressman Sanford D. Bishop, Jr. and the U.S. Census Bureau will be hosting three 2020 Census Job Fairs for constituents interested in earning some extra money while helping their community ahead of the 2020 Census count in April.

Pay starts at $14 an hour. Census takers in Middle and Southwest Georgia will primarily follow-up with non-respondents.

Bishop, Jr. (GA-02) and the entire Georgia House and Senate delegations introduced a bipartisan bill, H.R. 5472, to rename the Jimmy Carter National Historic Site to the Jimmy Carter National Historical Park. This designation would help protect multiple historic locations, increase name recognition, and draw more visitors to Plains, Georgia to learn about the life and presidency of President Jimmy Carter.
