ALBANY, GA – Today, Congressman Sanford D. Bishop, Jr. (GA-02) announced the new electronic submission process for high school students from Georgia's 2nd Congressional District who are interested in participating in the 38th Annual Congressional Art Competition.

"My office is still accepting entries for this year's Congressional Art Competition. However, due to safety and security concerns as a result of the COVID-19 virus, we are switching over to an electronic submission process." said Congressman Bishop.

WASHINGTON, DC – Yesterday, Congressman Sanford Bishop (GA-02) and Congressman Rob Woodall (GA-07) introduced the bipartisan Freight Restriction Elimination for Safer Hauling (FRESH) Act, which would allow vehicles carrying perishable goods to operate on the Interstate Highway System at the same weight tolerances/limits that states allow on their respective state roads and highways.
