Stephanie Shopp, a senior at Deerfield-Windsor School is the winner of the 2005 Congressional Art Competition in Georgia’s Second District, U.S. Representative Sanford Bishop announced today. The winning entry, entitled “Hands” will be displayed for one year at the U.S. Capitol, along with the winning entries from other Congressional districts across the country.

ALBANY, GA. Upon receiving the much-anticipated list of bases scheduled for realignment and closure (BRAC), Congressman Bishop announced that the Marine Corps Logistics Base (MCLB) located in Albany, Georgia will remain open.
