Bishop, Jr. (GA-02) urged Senator Johnny Isakson (R-GA) and Senator David Perdue (R-GA) to support the United States Senate's nomination of U.S. Attorney Loretta Lynch to be U.S. Attorney General. He sent a letter of support to each Senator. If confirmed, Ms. Lynch would replace outgoing U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder.
