Bishop, Jr. (GA-02) released the following statement announcing the awarding of a new $293,125 grant from the NeighborWorks national organization to assist NeighborWorks Columbus during the 2014 fiscal year. The funding is appropriated through the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2014 and will support NeighborWorks Columbus in their efforts to revitalize and sustain communities, promote and preserve affordable housing options, and create and sustain jobs in Columbus, Georgia.
