Bishop, Jr., (GA-02) a senior member of the U.S. House Appropriations Committee and member of the House Agriculture Committee, supported the passage of a bipartisan bill that provides continued funding for federal departments, agencies, and programs as well as an extension of Farm Bill programs. The bill also includes urgently needed disaster relief for Americans as well as $10 billion in long overdue economic aid for farmers. This morning President Biden signed the bill into law.

The bill was approved by the U.S. House with an overwhelmingly bipartisan vote of 381-20 and previously passed the U.S. Senate by unanimous consent last month.
