Congressional Military Family Caucus - 2021 Summit
The Congressional Military Family Caucus recognizes that when a service member joins the military, it is not a job - it is a family commitment to our country. Each year, the caucus hosts an annual summit to address the challenges faced by America's military families. This year's event was hosted on Thursday, October 14 from 9:00 AM ET to 5:00 PM ET. The theme of the 2021 Summit was:
Taking the Pulse of Military Families During COVID-19

The Congressional Military Family Caucus seeks to educate Members of Congress and their staff on the resources the military has for families. Specifically, the Congressional Military Family Caucus focuses on issues such as education, childcare, healthcare, spousal employment, and the effects of multiple deployments. Through educating Members of Congress, it is our hope that the Congressional Military Family Caucus will be able to develop legislation to better support our nation's military families.
The bipartisan Congressional Military Family Caucus was founded in 2009 by Representatives Sanford D. Bishop, Jr. (D-GA-02) and Cathy McMorris Rodgers (R-WA-05). The Caucus seeks to educate Members of the United States Congress and their staff about the challenges facing our nation's military families.
If you would like more information about the caucus, please call either (202) 225-3631 (Rep. Bishop) or (202) 225-2006 (Rep. McMorris Rodgers).
