Bishop, Jr. (GA-02) highlighted several broadband infrastructure improvement projects across Middle and Southwest Georgia funded through the American Rescue Plan Act and with local matching funds. The projects were announced by Georgia Governor Brian P. Kemp, state leaders, and the state's Broadband Infrastructure Committee.

Bishop, Jr. (GA-02) applauded the recent announcement by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Rural Development to award the City of Fort Gaines $169,800 to purchase patrol vehicles and security equipment. The award — a $100,000 grant and a $69,800 loan — will be matched with $68,000 from the city.
