Congressman Sanford Bishop, Representative of Georgia’s Second Congressional District, today announced that the Federal Home Loan Bank of Atlanta recently awarded $360,000 to Pepper Ridge Too, an affordable housing unit in Fort Gaines, Georgia through the Bank’s Affordable Housing Program (AHP).

Washington, D.C. - Today, the U.S. House of Representatives voted upon legislation to reauthorize the State Children’s Health Insurance Program (SCHIP) and provide health care to 10 million children, including 470,000 Georgia children. The vote followed last week’s failed veto override of another version of the legislation.
