WASHINGTON, DC – Early this morning, Congressman Sanford D. Bishop, Jr. (GA-02) was officially sworn in as a U.S. Representative for Georgia's Second Congressional District, representing the people of Middle and Southwest Georgia in the 118th Congress.
"I am excited to be serving the people, working with my Democratic colleagues, and finding common ground with my Republican friends to deliver for Georgia and America," said Congressman Bishop.
