CONGRESSMAN BISHOP STATEMENT IN RESPONSE TO NCR CLOSURE OF MANUFACTURING FACILITIES IN COLUMBUS

Columbus, GA – Today, Congressman Sanford D. Bishop, Jr. (GA-02) released the following statement in response to NCR's announced closure of two manufacturing facilities in Columbus, GA.

"I am saddened to learn of NCR's planned closure of two manufacturing facilities in the Columbus area, as part of their shift away from hardware manufacturing. My office stands ready to assist impacted workers and ensure they have access to relevant federal, state, and local resources and job training programs."
