WASHINGTON, DC – Today, Congressman Sanford D. Bishop, Jr. (GA-02) released a statement for the 18th anniversary of the September 11th terrorist attacks in 2001:

"Eighteen years ago, our country was irrevocably changed by the September 11th terrorist attacks. The world stopped as the shocking attacks unfolded. 2,977 people lost their lives.
