The congressman presented Phoebe CEO Joel Wernick was a Congressional Record

ALBANY, GA -- Congressman Bishop stopped by Phoebe Putney Wednesday to recognize a hospital leader.

The congressman presented Phoebe CEO Joel Wernick was a Congressional Record. It was done in recognition of Georgia Trend honoring Wernick as one of State of Georgia’s top 25 leaders.

Bishop says it’s great to honor the hospital and Wernick’s hard work. “The mission that this hospital carries out for southwest Georgia is so valuable and his leadership is so valuable that it ought to be recognized,” says Bishop.

Bishop also took a tour of the hospital to get a better idea of what residents tax dollars are going towards.
