Bishop, Jr. (GA-02) released the following statement after the Department of Labor released the March jobs report indicating that the economy added 216,000 jobs last month and the national unemployment rate dropped to 8.8%, the lowest level in two years. Earlier this week, the Georgia Department of Labor announced that the state unemployment rate in February edged down to 10.2% from a revised 10.3% in January.
