The funds in this bill will support a wide range of federal programs that cover agriculture, rural development, and the Food and Drug Administration as well as other agencies.

He announced that the community project funding requests have been included in the Fiscal Year 2023 Interior, Environment, and Related Agencies subcommittee bill which was approved by the subcommittee yesterday.

Congressman Sanford D. Bishop, Jr. has submitted funding requests for important community projects in Georgia's Second Congressional District to the House Appropriations Committee.
Under guidelines issued by the U.S. House Appropriations Committee, each member of the U.S. House of Representatives may request funding for up to 15 projects in their community for fiscal year 2023 – although only a handful may actually be funded.
