My office received a very large number of requests for tickets to attend the inauguration ceremony, which exceed the limited number of tickets we were allocated. I regret that my office is unable to fulfill any additional ticket requests.
Although my office is unable to accommodate your ticket request, tickets are not required to view proceedings from the National Mall. The non-ticketed area of the National Mall begins at Fourth Street NW. While these areas will be crowded, they will provide you with the opportunity to experience this historic event. Please note that January is historically cold and wet, so dress accordingly.
Due to the large number of people expected, please keep in mind that security for this event will be very strict. For a list of prohibited items for seated, standing, and non-ticketed areas, please click here.
For additional information on the presidential swearing-in ceremonies, please visit the Joint Congressional Committee on Inaugural Ceremonies (JCCIC) website at www.inaugural.senate.gov. Questions regarding the Inaugural Parade, the Inaugural Ball, and other official events should be directed to the Presidential Inaugural Committee (PIC) at https://www.58pic2017.org. If you do decide travel to Washington, D.C., I also strongly encourage you to review the extensive transportation and security information here, as well as walking routes here.
Again, thank you for submitting your request for tickets to the 58th quadrennial Presidential Inaugural Ceremony. If I can ever be of assistance to you, please do not hesitate to call on me.
